Audio Delivery

AAF Prep

  • Remove unused, muted, temp, and scratch tracks

  • Label tracks clearly (DX, VO, MX, SFX)

  • Consolidate/render audio as needed

  • Remove unnecessary plugins (print effects if required)

  • Ensure no offline media

  • Include 5–10 sec handles (confirm preference)

Export Settings

  • 24-bit WAV

  • Maintain original sample rate (typically 48kHz)

  • Separate mono tracks (no stereo interleaving unless requested)

  • Include crossfades

  • Copy complete audio files (not link to source)

  • Embed media or provide a consolidated folder (confirm preference)

Naming & Organization

  • ProjectName_MixPrep_Date.aaf

  • Matching video reference (burn-in TC + 2-pop)

  • Include guide mix

QC

  • Reopen AAF to confirm relink

  • Spot check sync

  • Verify start timecode

Final Deliverables

  • AAF

  • Video reference (ProRes or H.264)

  • Guide mix

  • Notes (sample rate, frame rate, special callouts)

ADR Session Receivables

Audio Requirements:

1) If possible, please send dialogue and Music/FX as two or three separate tracks.

2) Cue sheet with printed timecode for all lines to be recorded. Please include talent name with dialogue lines and any naming conventions we should follow.

Video Requirements:

1)  Please export videos as Quicktime (.mov) with ProRes 422 proxy Avid DNxHD or H264 compression.

2)  If possible, include a timecode window burn in the upper right corner of the video.

3)  Please make sure that the timecode window burn begins at

00:59:50:00

4) First frame of picture should be at 01:00:00:00

5)  Please export the video with the audio guide track

6)  Please include a 2 pop at 00:59:58:00

File Delivery:

Files may be sent via Dropbox, WeTransfer, secure FTP and other file delivery sites.

Physical hard drives are also accepted
